Magiofoco in the Old Port is a great bet for delicious wood-fired gluten-free pizza. This mozzarella bar has lots of menu options for those following a gluten-free diet. There is a risk of cross contamination as there are normal pizzas but they take measures to reduce chance of contamination. Make sure to talk to your servers about the options and tell them you have celiac disease (if that is the case).
I had a the burrata caprese and the margherita pizza and both were delicious. I love having the option of having a wood-fired pizza and have not found anything like this elsewhere in the city.

Hi,
I was curious to know their measures for the gluten-free pizza.
Is there a different oven?
Did you go often?
Thanks.
I have been a couple of times and had no problems and told them I had celiac but it is the same oven so there is a slight risk. The only place in Montreal I know of with a separate oven is ottavios.
Thanks for the quick response!
Hello,
I called this evening to make a reservation and I was told that all the supplies to prepare and cook the pizza are the same. Therefore, they said it wasn’t safe for people with celiac. Was this different when you went? What measures did they take to reduce cross contamination?
Thank you and sorry for all the questions. I got so excited with the prospect of pizza…
Ah I was told it was safe for celiac and haven’t had any problems. Sorry to hear that! Ottavio’s is a good bet and is safe for Pizza but it is outside the city center.
La pâte à pizza est préparée dans un autre établissement, la pizza est préparée dans une pièce à part mais ils la cuisent dans le même four.
Pas de symptome par la suite. Excellent.
